A must see are the Al Ain Zoo and Aquarium which opened in 1969. The reason why the zoo started initially was because the UAE President had an interest finding ways to preserve and shelter the wildlife and maintain the species of wildlife there. The amount of animals enhanced year on year and now they have a wonderful spread of animals to see. Be certain to see the Arabian deer and African antelope who roam around in an enormous environment at the zoo. Other animals to see are the pumas, gazelle, tigers, eland and lions. There are endangered animals of animals bred at this zoo.
Another place to visit when in Al Ain is the Garden City of the Gulf. This wonderful oasis is filled with huge sections of water with gorgeous gardens plenty of exotic flowers and plants. The lovely parks are a great place to take it all in and chill. Found in the area surrounding the Garden City of the Gulf is the Al Ain Museum and for entertainment and fun the Ain Al-Faydah Resort is a joy to visit.
Everybody has to shop on holiday. It's one of the most outstanding shopping places in the Emirates. Along with a spread of diners stuffed with various cultures of foods, there are other activities that you'll find a pleasure. Desert cruises can be planned while you're visiting the mall. The two level mall also holds a big bowling street and 4 theatres for those hoping to relax and catch a movie. It has 1 or 2 playing areas for youngsters and outlets surrounding the mall as well as a big skating rink.
