Let me tell my story on Costa Rica journey, start 3:00 am ... Damn, we really got up at 3:00 in the morning! While few hours before that I was still at work, as usual.
This country is perfect for family travel. A warm welcome and kindness of the inhabitants constant, pervasive sweetness of life, beautiful surroundings and conditions of travel comfort. Go with your children to the canopy, zip line or rope bridges between trees, swim in volcanic hot springs or go snorkeling on the island of Cano go where whales and dolphins. A wilderness paradise for everyone!
We land at the airport in San Jose at 14:30 local time (there are 2 hour time difference, it is 4:30 p.m. in Montreal at the same time). The airport is very small, red tape are quickly dispatched. We are expected to exit by Max, who works for the car rental company where we expect our faithful friend the next 2 weeks: our 4x4. Max takes us into the offices of the company, we fill the papers, to 3:20 p.m. and we are already on Costa Rican roads, driving our new car.
Direction: The King! We travel fatigue in the body, but we decide to put up a little and make a road up to us to get there before dark if possible. We have before us approximately 3 hours drive, we can begin to relax and to tame the 4x4, the conduct of Costa Rican, and the landscape of pop music heard on the radio. Accompanied by a radio host obviously a little excited, we get acquainted with the Costa Rican mountains. The road is good, but it turns, and growing, and it turns, and it goes down, and it climbed back ...
Finally, we arrive at La Fortuna around 18:30 at night. Exhausted, we do not lose too much time looking for a hotel and we headed to the most convenient parking, restaurant, air conditioning. Hop! It's done! For our first evening, we will therefore Chinese dinner, in the nearly empty room at the hotel. The Arenal, the famous volcano, is just opposite, we guess the night. We may even see a little glow. And 20:00, we fall like flies!
